FlowerAi + ActivityPod (Solid+ActivityPub)

Hello,

Disclaimer: I’m still a beginner here.

I did a project, which combines decentralized federated learning with the social web, while writing model updates to a commonly shared knowledge graph: GitHub - bluebbberry/MusicRecommendationFungus: Decentralized, federated music recommendation system. Available to users through the social web, saving results in the semantic web and learning collabortively using decentralized federated learning.

I also did a small prototype to base this on flower.ai: GitHub - bluebbberry/FungusNode: Starter Kit for growing your own AI fungus and to join the mycelium web. However, it didn’t went far.

The idea is that individuals can claim ownership of three things: their social media account, their knowledge base and their AI model. The fungus that I created represents the AI model in this concept, because the fungus can be accessed through the social web and builds itself on a common knowledge base, which could also be something like a solid pod.

If this works, users have control over their semantic data, the AI model they contribute computation-power to and their social media presence, all interconnected. And they can run the smallest possible version of this on their laptop.

What do you think of the overall idea and does anybody here have experience combining FlowerAi with ActivityPod (or just solid pods)?

Best
